Hello Everyone,
I've never really attempted a good introduction so here goes...
I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself properly and tell you a little bit about me and how I ended up here doing this, DTA.
My real name is Paul and I'm from the UK, specifically a county called Northumberland. I'm 31 years old, and live with my girlfriend and 3 amazing children. I've always been interested in cars and motorsport along with gaming so it's no surprise that I ended up doing this. It's like all of my interests have merged into one.
In terms of racing games I started with the early Gran Turismo's back on PS1 and moved onto Forza when the Xbox 360 was released. Never owned a racing rig, wheel, or even a decent PC to play some of the more well known sim racers out there but I do ok.
Sometime last year I was looking for cars to paint on FM5 and noticed some really cool time attack paints. I YouTubed the cars and that's when my love of Time Attack began. I thought the cars were just immensely enjoyable to watch and in a way the whole thing reminded me of when I was in my early teens going to Auto-Cross events with a family friend and their son who used to participate.
Anyway, being older and having already done a few TA paints by this point I decided to start up my first Time Attack event. During the second season of the event I realized that it really needed a place to call home and that's when the idea of the forum came to me. That was January 2015.
So that's me and Digital Time Attack, I do all of this in my spare time and until January I didn't even know what CSS was lol, but I have picked it up quick. The site is still young so I'm hoping that it just keeps growing and that I keep getting better at all of this stuff for you all.
To wrap up I just want to say that I'm very easy going so if you ever need to ask anything then just go ahead and do it. I take on board ideas suggestions and I am happy to help in anyway I can.
Thanks for reading
