@ RR - great points on the view selection. You just hit onto something important as to how I have been racing. I did change view (to bumper), yet, I am still braking at the same point. I start braking at beginning of yellow dotted line. I know I am missing critical time. However, when I brake late I tend to lock the brakes up and mess it up.
Any ideas out there on how best to brake are welcome. To not take over the thread, please pm me with your thoughts/ideas on braking. Thank you!

Anyway, braking is vary varied. You usually have two types of braking techniques..
1. Braking in a straight line - great from decelerating the car as fast as possible but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's faster
2. Trail braking which is when you brake later, compared to braking in a straight line, but to make this useful, you'd turn into the corner about halfway which in my opinion - the best option to go for. I made up around 0.1-0.4 from trail braking.
But, depending upon your driving style either can be beneficial, but I'd advise TCS users to brake in a straight line and Non-TCS users to trail brake - the reason for this, is that with trail braking you can create a V around the corner so, why is the better? As you exit the corner, you're effectively exiting the in a straight line thus better traction = lower hot-lap times.
Obviously this is the opposite for TCS users - TCS uses the most efficient amount of power thus having the tightest line can be much less time consuming than creating a V thus usually 50 - 80 percent of the time this can be better.
You have to take into account your own driving style but test both of them out...

Thanks RR, thus is certainly helpful. I do NOT use TCS, thus, I will try your suggestion as I get comfortable going around the turn and braking at mid-point. (Did I get that correcT?) So, I start the turn, then brake (somewhat hard since the car is still up on speed), then the car will slide and be straight (hopefully) on target for throttle on. Sounds scary, lol...
@pr I use bumper view, always have always will. Braking is about 2/3 red arrows in for me.
